Originally from the Sacramento region, Emma recently graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, receiving her degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. During her studies, she worked for the environmental collaboration office for the City of Milwaukee where she helped track city energy use and wrote a commercial rainwater harvesting guidebook. Emma joined CivicSpark to learn more about environmental initiatives in local government while serving the community. She is hoping to learn more about policy and how it intersects with science and environmental justice.
