Gabriela is from the San Diego area and attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA. She majored in Urban and Environmental Policy and minored in Latina/o and Latin American Studies. While interning at various housing organizations in LA, she became interested in housing as a tool to address systemic inequities in society. As a CivicSpark Fellow, Gabriela looks forward to expanding housing accessibility for the diverse community college student population.
