Carrie was born and raised in Alameda, CA. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Environmental Management and Protection and a minor in GIS and City and Regional Planning. Previously, Carrie interned with the City of San Luis Obispo working on the Parks and Recreation Master plan and most recently worked for the City of Thousand Oaks as a GIS aide. She is excited to be working and living on the Central Coast and assisting the County of Ventura on their General Plan and program EIR. Carrie aims to get a better understanding of the role local agencies play in making a community more sustainable and how to plan for a future with climate change.
