Shannon was born and raised in Ventura County and graduated from UC Davis in 2019 with a degree in Environmental Science and Management. Her passion for zero waste and sustainability led her to join CivicSpark for the 19-20 service year. She is excited to be continuing her service at RecycleMore for a second year, working to improve waste management in West Contra Costa County and implementing new state laws. She looks forward to gaining more knowledge and experience this service year while continuing to make our communities more livable and sustainable.
