Originally from Seattle, Sara graduated from Pomona College in 2019 and majored in Environmental Analysis. She cultivated a passion for Zero Waste while working for her campus Sustainability Office, and for climate justice while studying abroad in Cape Town during the 2018 water crisis. After graduation she served in Paraguay as a Peace Corps Environment Volunteer. Sara is now excited to contribute to climate action, waste management programs and outreach work in Truckee while growing as a sustainability professional and connecting with other passionate young folks!
