I am a Chicago native and fall 2020 graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science. I will be returning to get my Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy at Northeastern University in Boston following my CivicSpark Fellowship. After college I began my first AmeriCorps service term with TerraCorps at Barnstable Land Trust, a land stewardship non-profit, in the Cape Cod Bay Area of Massachusetts. I look forward to serving the Central Valley Water Quality Control Board in their mission to address environmental justice issues through cultural use and tribal subsistence fishing designations to water for California Native American Tribes. Moreover, I’m excited to explore California’s natural beauty and partake in outdoor recreation activities like kayaking, hiking and climbing!
