Mia Weitz was born and raised in Stockton, California. She recently graduated with a Double Major in Studio Art and Community Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She got involved in Stockton working with Third City Coalition on the city’s Transformative Climate Communities Grant and was able to learn a lot about environmental justice. She is excited to continue working to make change in Stockton through the Climate Action Corps program.
