Jacqueleen Weeden

Jackie is a first-year human geography graduate student at San Diego State University, where she is working on gathering BIPOC perceptions, narratives, and memories on green spaces for her thesis. She is also a teaching assistant for the geography department, teaching physical geography in a laboratory setting for undergraduate students. Jackie has a BA in Sustainability from San Diego State University and expects to receive her MA in Human Geography in 2024. Before entering her role as a graduate student, she was a fellow in the 21-22 cohort at the City of La Mesa, working on implementing their Climate Action Plan. In her free time, you can catch Jackie catching up on sleep, finding good coffee in San Diego, and the outdoors.
