Michael Consunji

Staff Bio

Originally from Southern California, Michael Consunji graduated in May 2017 from Occidental College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Urban Environmental Policy with a minor in Education. While attending Occidental, Michael was on the varsity football team, and wrote a senior thesis on Investigating Best Practices for Implementing Solar Photo­-Voltaic Initiatives for Public Schools K­-12.

After graduating, Michael served as a Climate Fellow for the City of Santa Monica’s Office of Sustainability and the Environment, working with the Climate, Energy, Green Building, and Electric Vehicles Team on projects that aimed for the increase of electric vehicle adoption and electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Santa Monica multi­-unit dwellings. Now, Michael is a San Francisco Fellow, working full­-time as an Analyst for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency. He is working on various projects, such as: Vision Zero project evaluations, Livable Streets capital funding and resource allocation, State of Good Repair planning, and policy and project support for emerging mobility services and technology. Michael is excited to be able to continue working with local government agencies that deal with environmental sustainability, transportation, and mobility issues.
