Fellow Bio
Ruby earned her Bachelor of Arts from CSU Channel Islands in 2022 with a degree in Anthropology and Global Studies and a minor in Environmental Science. Originally from the Los Angeles area, particularly from the city of Walnut, Ruby has interests in community planning and sustainability that translate across the environmental and public policy fields. Ruby will join the sustainability project in Chico working towards launching Chico’s progress towards community resilience for the 2022-2033 CivicSpark Fellowship year. Along with working towards a greater future, Ruby also enjoys spending her free time hiking, listening to music, and finding new adventures.
